The Mission of the National
Vietnam Veterans Foundation, Inc.
is to:





1. Raise the level of public pride in the achievements of Vietnam Veterans.

2. Provide educational seminars, workshops, conferences, and training programs on subjects effecting veterans and their families.

3. Conduct research on critical long and short-term issues impacting on veterans.

4. Sponsor scholarships for the education of dependent children of Vietnam Veterans.

5. Recognize the exemplary contributions made by Vietnam Veterans to raising national productivity and improving the quality of life.

6. Provide outreach information services to Vietnam Veterans.

7. Assist in homeless programs to assist Vietnam Veterans and their families.



Vietnam Veterans Memorial Foundation
Is Asking For Vietnam Veterans Photos
Fedex Office is teaming up with the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Foundation (VVMF) to help collect pictures of all 58,000 veterans listed on the VVM Wall in Washington, DC. Beginning September 16th, 2009 until May 31st, 2010, the Memorial will be asking the public to bring pictures of veterans of the Vietnam war to their local FedexOffice to be scanned and uploaded to the Foundation. The images will be used to create an exhibition of faces that belong to the names on the wall.
